What a Walk

1,000 people, $57,000 A little rain – okay ground-rattling thunderstorms – weren’t enough to scare away the 1,000 people who showed up Sunday, October 14 for the first-ever Walk for Belmont to Benefit Joey’s Park. Luckily, the sun showed up, too… just as Al Halliday kicked off the 2-mile trek with a rousing bagpipe send-off. Playground architect John Dean has a great job. He asks kids what they want in their playground.
